On October 27 Ivano-Frankivsk hosted the 3rd International Investment and Economic Forum. Participation in it took 150 guests from the region, Ukraine and abroad. During the meeting our city replenished the list of city partners – signed an agreement on cooperation with the city of Baia Mare (Romania).
Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv emphasized that the main objective of this year’s forum is to present the strategy of Ivano-Frankivsk development for the next 10 years. “We developed it together with the Government of Canada and the project “Partnership for Urban Development”, taking into account the opinions of specialists and ordinary residents. Our investors should know what to expect from the city in the near future, in which direction it will develop. By the way, the largest investor in the Ivano-Frankivsk infrastructure is its inhabitants, who, due to their co-financing under different programs, invest daily in the welfare of their hometown. And for this I am extremely grateful to everyone” said the Mayor.
Within the framework of the meeting, Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv signed an agreement on cooperation between Ivano-Frankivsk and the city of Baia Mare (Romania).
“Ivano-Frankivsk has to present it – it is a successful experience of attracting investment in a variety of economic sectors. We have something to hope for, because the investment potential and comfort of our city leaves no doubt for anyone” Ruslan Martsinkiv summed up.
