Workshop with stakeholders on forest management in the Vovchinets mountains

#URBforDAN Participatory approach in action! Yesterday an introductory workshop on #urban #forest management in the #Vovchynets Hills was held within the project “Management and Utilization of Urban Forests as Natural Heritage in #Danube #Cities”.

Participants, managers and users of the forest, quite uncommonly met and told in what way they use the Vovchynets Hills, how they see the development of the city forests in Ivano-Frankivsk; got acquainted with the project and worked in groups.

Group-work exercise taught participants to prioritize, identify problems and communicate with different categories of people (different professions, age, motivation, etc.).

Four teams presented the results of group work, shared recommendations on improving the conditions of the Vovchynets Hills.
